WELCOME TO THE MILOS CLINIC a specialized hospital in ophthalmic care

This guide will inform you about our services, hoping that you may choose some of them for your medical care.
The Milos Eye Hospital is situated in Radoslava Grujica Street No.25, occupying a space of more than 600 sqm carefully designed premises, equipped in most modern manner, to meet all the challenges in ophthalmology today.
There are clinics, a lab, laser clinic, diagnostic unit, surgical theatre and day hospital rooms.

HOSPITAL SERVICES

DIAGNOSTICS in ophthalmology is performed in three separate clinics and in additional diagnostic units including computed perimetry, ultrasound (and UBM), IOL master of the last generation for precise intraocular lens power calculation, topography (Topolyser) and Pentacam for corneal and anterior segment diagnostics,
STRATUS OCT (Optical Coherent Tomography) for precise early diagnosis in macular and retinal disorders and glaucoma, fundus camera for fluorescein angiography, fully equipped squint clinic.

LASER CLINIC is specially adapted for laser surgery and therapy in ophthalmology. There are an argon laser for retinal diseases, SLT and Nd YAG laser for glaucoma and anterior segment surgery, some postoperative conditions and secondary cataract.

REFRACTIVE SURGERY
A Wave Light ALLEGRETTO Wave Excimer Laser System for laser vision correction, usually performed in myopia up to 10 dioptres and hypermetropia and astigmatism up to 4-5 dioptres, with high level of safety and reliability.

SURGERY
Eye surgery is performed in a surgical theatre where most demanding rules of modern surgery are followed. There is a main surgical theatre, pre-operative day hospital rooms, close to the anesthetics clinic.
In the wide range of ophthalmic surgery offered, in out-patient concept, intraocular operations are performed in the theatre with a modern operating microscope, with all new equipment and instruments required, and its own sterilization unit.
Cataract surgery, phaco and microphaco, with wide range of intraocular lenses, including multifocal and toric, glaucoma surgery - trabeculectomy, ex-press shunt and endophotocyclocoagulation, vitreoretinal surgery (including diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment and macular surgery), ocular trauma, squint surgery and corneal transplants with close cooperation and control of four Eye banks, abroad, contracted.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
The ongoing INTERNAL MEDICINE CLINIC and LABORATORY are at disposal to our patients in order to provide high quality and time-spearing preoperative and postoperative diagnostics and care.
To complete our services we cooperate with TA Optics placed in the same building.

Milos Clinic also invest significant time and efforts into TRAINING AND EDUCATION for own staff and external ophthalmologists through clinical courses and meetings hosted by the clinic and with well-known experts and lecturers.
